Project Construction Manager

- Must act as the owner’s agent during coordination and inspection of field activities.
- Works closely with owner, project manager, site manager, other field construction managers and mechanical field engineer as required, in formulating, discussing and finalizing the overall plan of operations, job layout, job schedule, etc.
- Oversees the day-to-day activities of contractors in field, coordinating with other field construction managers and Contractors. Must work with persons of different cultures and languages
- Maintains regular communications with project staff to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications and schedule
- Reviews plans and specifications of job, contractor scope documents, HSSE and quality requirements to ensure that quantities, values, manpower requirements and deliveries of various divisions of job are understood
- Coordinate and participates in weekly/ monthly progress meetings with contractors
- Assists in preparation of plan during the life of job for receiving, storing and handling materials as required
- Assists in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, safety issues, etc.) as required
- Coordinate work activities and ensuring safe work permits, crane permits, and all other activities required to perform the job safely is done by the contractors
- Maintains best possible relationship with owner and contractors associated with job
- Performs additional assignments per project manager's and site manager s direction

- Master / bachelor degree in mechanical engineering,chemical process equipment, petrochemical or equivalent.
- Fluency in reading, writing, speaking English. To prefer TOEIC 500 and above or equivalent
- PC skill: AutoCAD, Proficient in MS Office (can use Pivot and Vlook up/ HLook up in Excel for Reporting), Navisworks Review...; Electronic presentation programs
- The candidate at least 07 years experience in Heavy/ Petrochemical Industrial and Oil and Gas with a background in mechanical Engineer, Piping.
- At least 03 years experience in Project Construction Manager.
- Skill: excellent technical and leadership skills; Time managerment; Problem Solving; Working under hight pressure; Strong client relations skills; Strong communication skill; Problem Solving
- Deep knowledge and understanding of piping and equipment installation required
- Demonstrated ability to effectively control schedule
- Excellent knowledge of safety requirements.
