ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM
The Arts and Creative Industries team work to strengthen collaboration between the arts and creative sectors in the UK and Vietnam. We aim to develop long term UK – Vietnam partnerships through sustainable projects; and to harness the value of the arts and creative sector that contributes to the development of a more open, prosperous, creative, and inclusive society in Vietnam. We will build a friendly knowledge and understanding between the UK and Vietnam through collaborations in the arts and creative industries.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY
You will manage successful delivery of a programme in culture and development under the Arts and Creative Industries team, ensuring high impact and high-quality implementation of all activities, communication and visibility, and monitoring, evaluation and learning. You will implement an agreed set of project or programme activities (including planning, partner liaison and logistics) to ensure these are delivered to time, budget and quality.
WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT IT
You will have opportunities to maintain a sound working knowledge of major developments, issues and stakeholders within the specific area of subject or sector expertise to build professional credibility, confidence and market insight. You will represent the British Council at specific subject/sector-related events to ensure appropriate support is given to partners and other stakeholders.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You should have bachelor’s degree from relevant fields such as arts, culture, business administration, international relations, English, and other social sciences with minimum five years of experience in project management and in general administration. Experience in project and event management in the field of arts and culture would be advantageous.

- Salary: Pay band 6/G (from VND 35,853,000 per month)
- 13th month salary
- Standard working hours of 37.5 hours and five days a week
