Production Technician

* Objective of Position
Competently monitor, control and operate the platform systems and equipment within the guidance and parameters laid out in operating procedures. Ensure the facilities are available to meet production target.

* Main Functions
Direct Functions
- Competently monitor, control and operate the platform systems and equipment within the guidance and parameters laid out in operating procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring that the quality of the work conforms to all relevant specifications and standards and that the work is performed according to applicable procedures and instructions.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive shift logs of all activities and actions.
- At regular intervals take logs of certain parameters and monitor for potential safety, environmental or operational problems.
- Provide a comprehensive shift handover.
- Ensure chemical stocks of day to day consumables are maintained.
- Carry out planned inspections, prepare shift reports and ensure all actions are completed and closed out.
- Provide accurate and timely input to work packs for identified planned maintenance activities.
- Provide supervision for contract and vendor staff on procedures, safe working practices, and permit guidance and in depth plant familiarity.
- Lead tours of the production area, responsible for condition monitoring in their area.
- Responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out in a safe and environmentally manner.
- Fully conversant with process and utility drawing, Cause and Effect matrix.
- Fully conversant with the Work Control System.
- Provide high quality planned maintenance, which contributes towards high plant reliability and availability.
- Adapt to changing priorities and integrate with other disciplines create an effective team.
- Record results adequately in the computer based maintenance management system.
- Assist operations where disciplines overlap to provide an overall efficient maintenance service.
- Ensure all hazards, faults and problems are recorded and solved or reported to the Supervisor.
- Maintain own skills by training and contribute to the training of other team members and new staff.
- Maintain well housekeeping at all times in Lab and working area.
- Liaise on a regular basis with the Operations Supervisor advising on spares and material requirements.
- Maintain and update drawings, records, reports, and procedures as required.
- Participate the additional tasks as banks man, helideck crew…
- Participate in the Emergency Response organization according to the Emergency Response Plan.
- Support Operations Supervisor in assigned tasks.
- Complete tasks assigned by line managers within own competence
- Comply with all company HSE requirements for the job and as a minimum with all HSE requirements including golden safety rules.
- Strictly comply with Rosneft’s Policy on Combatting Corruption and all relevant procedures of Rosneft Vietnam in the implementation of the Policy.

Joint Functions
- Carry out Isolation/de-isolation, leak test for other team: Mechanical team, Instrument team, Electrical tea, contractor in maintenance activities
- Team investigation/troubleshooting for equipment faults with Electrical team, Instrument team, Mechanical team, vendor
- Team working for modification tasks
- Working with onshore support team for generate/review/revise procedures

Contacts
- Contact with Manufacturer: Solar, Dresser Rand, etc., for operations issues.
- Contact with External Lab for analyzing gas/condensate/produced water samples.
- Contact with manufacturer, retailer for materials.

Regulation of Activities
- National regulations, standards
- Company code of conduct, standards, instructions.

- College/University graduated in Petroleum or Chemical engineering
- Good knowledge of Oil & Gas Industry - Preferable 3 years of working experience in Oil & Gas industry in related roles.
- Good understanding of basic science and technology.
- Understanding in Control of Work procedure and requirements.
- Good communication skills towards platform personnel and third parties.
- Extensive understanding of the facility process and fire and gas system.
- Hands-on experience in isolation, purging, leak test.
- Good understanding Lab equipments and Lab activities.
- Good understanding Solar Gas turbine and Gas Compressor.
- Formally trained of Emergency Response as the ERT.
- Good reporting skills.
- Minimum IELTS 5.0 (or TOEIC, TOEFL equivalent)
- Computer literate, skillful MS Office, Maximo
