Production Supervisor

• Responsible for implementing/executing production schedules with effective use of available resources.
• Manage and lead a group of Manufacturing Specialist and line technicians to meet departmental goal.
• Responsible for quality, yield, cost and cycle time of the products.
• Internalize positive work culture and implement TPM/CIL to ensure high standard of housekeeping of machine and vicinity.
• Handling grievance, complaints, employee concern and disciplinary issue through effective counseling.
• Carry out investigation on maverick lots in an expeditious manner to minimize the impact of problem through immediate containment and recall any lots shipped out of factory with the help of QA/equipment/process engineering.
• Facilitate continuous improvement on process simplification, labor productivity and cost reduction.
• Ensure conformance to the quality system requirement (FMEA, Control plan and TCM).
• Ensure positive and effective communication.
• Identify training needs of MS and technician to enhance their job competencies.
• Manage inventory control to meet department budget and assist in budgetary controls.
• Responsible for quality, yield, cost and cycle time improvement.
• Improve manufacturing system through process, equipment and system upgrades.
• Coordinate with engineering, equipment, manufacturing support function to execute business plan.
• Continuously seek ways to improve cost and quality to remain competitive in the market place.
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor Degree in engineering.
• Preferably manufacturing experience or supervisory level from 1-2 years.
• Able to lead and motivate subordinates to achieve organizational goals.
• Able to plan and execute plans effectively.
• Effective team building.
• Possess effective analytical and decision making skills.
• Process knowledge on product characteristics, process and equipment capabilities.
• Able to gather, organize and analyze information/data
• Able to lead team to improve product quality/yield/cost /cycle time
• Able to communicate and interact effectively.
• Able to work in shift. (3 shifts: work 6 days, off 2 days)
