Production Shift Supervisor

1. Coordinate all manufacturing activities and ensure the highest efficiency of a production shift
2. Ensure that finished products achieve the company’s quality standards and meet the demands of sales forecast about quantity and kind as well as the stocks’ safety
3. Follow up the implementation of the Company regulations, production procedures and the obedience of hygiene stipulations of production staff
4. Oversee the production plans and adjustments; cooperate with other departments to implement the projects within the factory.
5. Check the quantity of packaging and raw materials received for daily production from Warehouse; make vouchers of packaging/raw materials received and finished products issued to Warehouse; Inventory the materials at the end of every period
6. Ensure the calculation of batches of mixing, blending, etc. suit the production plans
7. Inform the short or low quality of packaging /raw materials to Production Manager, Production Assistant, and Purchasing Dept.
8. Guarantee the production area’s hygiene, the food safety; and labor safety; save electricity and reduce waste of packaging and raw materials
9. Check and corporate with Maintenance division to ensure the stable operations of machines/lines in order to increase the yield; corporate with Quality Control division to check the quality of package and finished products
10. Report the implementation of production plans and the personnel situation of Production Department to Production Manager
11. Sign on the annual/sick leaving permissions, shifting, timing cards of production staff…
12. Appraise the annual performance of operators
13. Solve the problems arising in production shift, following Production Manager’s instructions
14. Perform other job-related assignments

- Technical/ Professional knowledge and skills
o Knowledge: degree in Industrial Management/ Engineering; at least 2 yrs experience in production management in FMCG companies, preferably in confectionery companies
o Skills: Communication; excellent use of Word, Excel; English is a plus
