Production Scheduling Officer

A. Purpose
Production Scheduling is responsible to develop actual daily/weekly operation plan of the Refinery in accordance with the established operating procedures and written and oral instructions from Section Manager (SM)

B. Responsibilty
For this position, minimum works are as follows:
 Responsible to support to prepare actual daily/weekly production plan (For process unit and utility plant)
 Daily monitoring the process units operation and utility status
 Handle daily oil movement activity from crude oil tanks to CDU and from process units to intermediate tanks in order to ensure refinery stable operation
 Prepare and issue daily execution order for activities: tank switch, transfer and change of process unit operation condition
 Studying “what-if” scenario to identify opportunities to improve profits, such as efficiency improvement, cost reduction and other margin improvements
 Develop the specific software (Such as: PSS, PetroSIM)
 Work on shift if required (12 hrs team or 24 hrs team)
 Carrying out the job in accordance with written and oral instructions from SM/Leaders

1. Educational Level: University Graduated

2. Work Experience: Min 05 years experiences in Oil Refining/Petrochemical Plant or Petroleum Industry

3. Specialty/Qualification: A bachelor’s degree in Refining/Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering

4. Skills:
- Knowledgeable with the process design, process operation and petroleum planning.
- Excellent Knowledge and understanding of Petroleum standards and criterion
- Min 02 years experience in Production Planning that includes economic analyses.
- Report writing, communication, training and presentation skills
- IT Skill: Excel Macro, Hysys (or relevant), Power point
- Strong decision making abilities under high pressure and innovative to generate the new ideas.
- English skills: IELTS 5.0 (or relevant)
