Production Scheduler (Bien Hoa)

Responsibilities:
- Check open sale order, stock status at SAP daily to prepare 2 days production schedule making sure production run smooth and effectively, deliver product according to customer expectation. Major contribute to %OTIF target for Site.
- Working closely with Inventory controller to check raw material available make sure only scheduling production batch when material are available on hand.
- Co-ordinate inventory controller to minimize loss due to material shortage.
- Manage & control loose inventory at production floor. Making sure loose stock at production is minimum level & stock update in time.
- Checking & making sure packaging & label is available for packing product according to production plan.
-Coordinate Customer service, Technical, Production, Supply chain to serve urgent sale order ; to look for opportunity to serve customer faster reduce production lead time.
- Decide production batch size & create production order at SAP based on either open sale order at SAP or monthly plan from Inventory controller.
- Check, report % production schedule adherence daily at MDT meeting board.
- To print out batch ticket from SAP for all production order ; get approved signature from Lab for all production batch ticket before passing to production
- Do block & unblock at SAP for ON-Hold batch & problem batch
- Follow up with Technical, Production for Problem Batch/ON Hold batch until the batch is clear at production floor. Update progress of clearing problem batch at Production to team for reducing on-hold stock as soon as possible
- To update daily production schedule, pending batch, problem batch to team for follow up action.
- Check raw material stock at SAP, inform to inventory controller potential shortage material for action taken soonest.
- Check sale history and sale forecast propose optimum batch size, standard batch size to team to improve productivity.
- Calculate batch size, packing size to meet customer demand, minimize stock sitting at warehouse.
- Working at AkzoNobel Coatings Vietnam - Lot 107 Amata IP, Long Binh, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai

- University degree in related majors, chemical major is preferrable
- Fluent in English, both oral & written
- Computer skill is good. Prior for people has experience at SAP
