Production Planning Specialist (Semi-Finished Goods) (Temporary)

***JOB PURPOSE
With the overall responsibility for optimization and management of realizing production plan to effective execution, the Production Planning Specialist plays a big role in delivering proper plans/ schedules of SFG to shop-floor in order to maximize the production execution in term of capacity utilization and efficiency as well as meeting the objectives of order confirmation and delivery commitment prior to customer’s request.

***MAIN DUTIES
(General summary of major areas of activities and responsibilities. This is not all list of exclusive duties but a sampling of day-to-day actions.)
1. Basing on master production weekly ITS target and APO/ MRP, the planner will convert the production plan to production orders for semi-finished goods and monitor production execution basing on the plans/ schedule given out.
2. Monitor production execution and comparing the bias between plans with actual output to identify any (potential) risk may impact the confirmation and delivery schedule.
3. Often work out solutions/ feedback to direct manager prior to any (potential) issue that cause gap from execution to plan such as technical/ machine issue, sub-process bottleneck, high scrap rate, component shortage, etc.
4. Monitor the follow-up activities in cross functions related to such issues and address in operational discussion and reflect in daily production planning report in order to maintain the production execution running smoothly basing on revised plan to ensure the final target met on weekly/ monthly basis.
5. Proactive communication of analysis to production management with active consulting of problem solving (for example improving delayed production orders to achieve requested delivery date)

1. Ensure planned order converted into production order timely and sufficient to production capacity, material availability
2. Make sure production execution followed production plan, and spend transparency with production planning KPIs and reporting
3. Sustain availability of production components by foresighted Increasing transparency for analysis by proper master data setting
4. Optimised utilization of production capacities by balancing order load through the whole production process and over the whole production sites
5. Foresighted planning for proactive managing of bottle neck resources in cooperation with production management
6. 100% availability of semi - finished goods according requested delivery date customer

• Bachelors Degree. At least 3 years experience
• English communication
• Good team player due to cross-functional working
• Advanced know-how of SAP APO
• Good at Microsoft Excel
