Production Planner

** Job Purpose
1. To plan, schedule and expedite orders based on demand and resources.
2. To respond promptly to change requests (customer and engineering phase-in / phase-out, product transfer and manufacturing released products).
3. To involve in the capacity management process, recommend measures and actions.
4. To regulate inventory management of semi-finished goods.
5. To ensure the planning parameters are accurately created and maintained in the ERP system.

** Part III: Major Accountabilities
1. Plan, load and schedule customer orders based on the respective planning concept
2. Verify material availability and expedite to relevant (procurement Team, planners of internal supplier: Hungary, MF1, MHM) in managing shortages and assess "what if" scenarios
3. Response customer’s requests (DO/CO) and service DOP expedited within time line defined guidelines.
4. Active participation in engineering changes, phase-in / phase-Out and mass released products that impact production orders, work with product engineers, QA, production supervisors, procurement and logistics in managing the changes.
5. Work with quality department for customer’s related product quality concerns and customer returns
6. Provide feedback on planning rules and guidelines applicable for APP SEA
7. Provide review and feedback support on the planning topics when there are revisions and updates
8. Liaises and coordinates with inter-subsidiaries, procurement , IQC, store receiving, store issuing for stock availability
9. Work closely with the TPU and shipping department to ensure on-time delivery and highest reliability performance.
10. Participate Capacity Management Process (CMP) and Midterm forecast meeting – recommend first level capacity measures / actions
11. Monitor work center capacity to avoid overload or increasing lead time fences, underload situation respectively.
12. Capacity alignment for IMAP lines.
13. Responsible for FG/ SFG and raw-material stock availability, participate in department improvement projects / company KPI.
14. Regular inventory management in responsible line to meet KPI and through put time.

Education : Bachelor’s degree or Engineer industrial management or equivalent disciplinary.
Languages: 1st Language: Business fluent in Vietnamese ; 2nd language: Good communication in English equivalent TOEIC 500
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing planning with MRP/ERP system
• Understanding supply chain management processes
Specific Knowledge:
• Microsoft advance (excel, Access and Outlook)
• Influence in ERP (SAP, Dynamic…) to fulfill planner’s tasks.
• Able to work in complex products line (high variants, difference planning model).
• LEAN manufacturing concept (JIT, KANBAN) to eliminate planning activities
• Experience in lead-time and through put time improvement, setting KPIs to measure planning performance.
• Customer focus and production optimization mindset
