Production Manager, Powder Coatings (Working in Binh Duong & Hiep Phuoc IZ)

Manage the Production activities by planning, implementing, monitoring and coordinating with other functions for smooth and effective production, including but not limited to:
- Manage Production in Powder factory according to Group Operations KPIs/ JOS to ensure the implementation of proper practices, follow up on given standards; deliver products in required amount and quality according to standard specifications and requirements by utilizing resources effectively and efficiently;
- Build up the Powder operational team to be ready for commissioning and start up;
- Plan and organize daily production to ensure that product availability is on time as per agreed schedule;
- Provide training for workers in order to enhance workers’ performance and working discipline, as well as ensure work instructions, process formula are followed strictly and product quality is stable;
- Monitor production waste in order to reduce waste and ensure waste to be handled, stored and disposed according to local regulations;
- Provide initiatives to increase productivity to meet market demands on volume;
- Be responsible for driving complaint handling process (SCD) and actively participate in product complaint process (PCD) to understand customers’ escalations and drive improvement within the organization for matters related to orders and overall customer excellence;
- Cooperate with connected functions on smooth material flow to/ from Powder factory;
- Liaise with Project/ Maintenance Manager on maintenance team tasks and utilization to ensure the implementation of preventive maintenance program and reduce break-down time;
- Work closely with the Project team in the Greenfield project to take ownership of Powder factory by participating in internal project meetings and verify design of Powder factory in compliance with operations requirements;
- Implement HSEQ standards and local regulations in cooperation with HSEQ team;
- Report KPI’s to corporate as per guidelines;
- Other tasks as requested by superior.

*** Working Locations:
- Binh Duong Head Office (No. 1, Street 10, Song Than 1 IZ, Di An Town, Binh Duong Province).
- Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park, Nha Be District, HCMC.
- Company shuttle van is provided.

- University graduate in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant fields;
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Production field in the chemical/ coatings industry in which at least 5 years of experience in managerial position;
- Basic understanding of Labor Code and sound understanding of Health Safety Environment regulations;
- Strong ability to work with system and structured approach;
- Strong interpersonal skills to be a good example in performing all managerial duties in terms of self-task-people leadership;
- Demonstration of multi-tasking ability to set priority operative management, coaching and be involved to implement and drive improvement initiatives and people development at the same time;
- Ability to work independently under pressure and in team with high level teamwork approach;
- Good problem-solving skills;
- Good command of English and computer skills.
