Production Manager

- Control 6 to 10 lines
- Make sure the factory operation runs smoothly and efficiently
- Ensure the production is cost effective
- Make sure the products are produced on time and of required quality
- Monitor the production process and adjusting schedule with PPIC as required
- Control the quantity of finished garments
- Work out the human and material resources needed
- Train and develop manpower to improve efficiency
- Work with IE to plan line layout for each style
- Review worker performance
- Plan, organise manpower and system requirements for processes to ensure products comply with buyer’s standards and specifications
- Utilize the workforce effectively
- Be responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment
- Monitor the material utilization to achieve optimum usage of material
- Continual improvement for all operational activities
- Liaising with different departments to deploy the production effectively
- Work as a team with all managers to implement the company’s policies and goals
- Control the unexpected situations and have proper solutions
- Responsible for the health and safety of workers and ensuring Health and Safety guidelines are implemented
- Meet output and revenue targets agreed between Production Manager and Company Directors

- At least 5 years’ experience as a Manager in Apparel Manufacturing
- Strong technical understanding of garment assembly
- Able to manage multiple styles on line at one time
- Excellent leadership skills, good time management and organizational skills
- Good understanding of written English, spoken English an advantage
- Computer literate
- Manpower management and development skills
- Desire to improve and problem solve
- Work collaboratively as part of a management team
- Results orientated
