Production Manager

A global leader in food and beverage industry is seeking a production manager to provide complete management of activities within the production team to obtain great business results.


Description

The production manager will be managing 100 people team, reporting directly to the plant manager, and responsible for tasks including but not limited to:

* Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
* Drive cross-functional coordination across departments such as Safety, Quality, Sanitation, Logistics, and Maintenance.
* Maintains staff by assisting with recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
* Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
* Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
* Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
* Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data
* Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


Profile

Strong work ethic which thrives within a rapidly-moving, structured environment in addition to:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
* Experience with FMCG required
* 5+ years' of working experience in a related field
* Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality engineering in a continuous manufacturing operation
* Demonstrated leadership skills and a commitment to teamwork and team development
* Excellent communication and project management skills
