Production Manager

JOB SUMMARY: Direct all manufacturing operations. Manage utilization of equipment, facilities, and personnel to obtain maximum efficiency and meet performance objectives. Control significant manufacturing projects. Maintain authority over budget and scheduling.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)

• Overall management, monitoring and assurance of production schedule.
• Prepare operational budget, control inventory and etc to manage optimum production cost.
• To lead a team of production workers, leaders and supervisors to maximize productivity through effective management to achieve high quality standard and on time delivery.
• Build objectives and control action plans of production department to achieve department KPI.
• Optimize plan of manpower, Production process based on product work instructions.
• Drive continuous improvement activities to improve quality standard and implement operational cost reduction through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities and materials.
• Analyze problems/ issues in process and manage solutions.
• Performing other tasks required by immediate supervisor and General Director.
• Preparing and presenting operational performance reports on a monthly basis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
4 year degree plus 5 or more year’s relevant experience, or equivalent. Experience in the essential job functions listed above.

REQUIREMENTS
• Technical degree from university or equivalent.
• Preferably managers specializing in Manufacturing/Production operations or equivalent with more than 5 year experience in production management of 500 workers (or more)
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Knowledge of production process, line balance, 5S. Kaizen, 5 Why analysis is an added advantage.
• Must possess leadership, motivational and logical thinking skills. Also must be able to effectively communicate through oral and written English. Problem solving skills and creative thinking are required.
• An understanding of the customer’s perspective and knowing what is needed to satisfy the customer is required.
• The use of a computer and programming skills is required.
