Production Manager (Garment)

- Assist in planning, allocating and monitoring production schedules to ensure on-time delivery
- Manage the team to ensure team effectiveness and efficiency
- Provide technical advice/support to factories and colleagues to solve production issues
- Provide technical advice on pattern making/sample fitting/sample construction, etc
- Assist in managing the team to monitor production progress and solve production issues
- Responsible for sample/product development and sourcing
- Responsible for all production, both print/press and cut/sew to meet the high demand of retail and wholesale customers
- Manage scheduling and implement processes to optimize efficiency
- Oversee start-to-finish process of manufacturing, repairing, and integrating production assemblies and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products
- Responsible for completing projects while maintaining safety and compliance at all times
- Develop and enforce system policies and procedures, improvement plans, training programs, and project planning
- Assist with implementing an overall production and manufacturing strategy
- Enhance daily production performance through proactive thinking and employee engagement
- Responsible for regular monitoring and reporting of KPI’s and delivering on departmental and company goals
- Supervise the raw material requirements for each production line and adapts to shortages of raw materials
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed by their direct reports and issues disciplinary actions where needed
- Develop, analyze and review a variety of production reports to improve costs, employee commitment, safety, production lines, quality, efficiency, cycle times, volumes, and implements management changes as required
- Develop appropriate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with manufacturing or operational principles and practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations; monitors compliance with these areas
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management

- Degree in Clothing, Textile Merchandising or related discipline preferred
- Minimum 6 years' relevant experience with 1 year in managerial level
- Strong product and material knowledge, and familiar with merchandising and product development process
- Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded
- Ability to build strong relationships with the team as a good team leader, communicate effectively with internal and external parties
- Strong problem solving skills. Able to manage multiple tasks environment
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Literate in Microsoft office programs
