THE PROJECT / CONTEXT:
- Decathlon position about sustainable development is to use more and more renewable resources such as wood in a responsible way for our products. It is also one of our users and customers expectation.
- We in Decathlon Vietnam have everything to elaborate an amazing project about wood, more and more developments to come (finish goods or semi-finished goods for many sports such as world sports, skateboarding, table tennis, cycling, cross fit....) and available raw material locally.
- This job position will be mainly focused on one of the Key account supplier and on wood industrial process but not only. Other suppliers dealing with metal and plastic activity are also part of the perimeter you will have to manage (total 3 suppliers).
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- More and more projects to come so one of major responsibility will be to follow-up developments (supplier and development center to manage on products requirements, costs, deadlines...)
- From the design and its requirements, you will run the development stage including prototypes making, then you‘ll guarantee a good industrialization of the goods (process capability) prior starting mass production.
- Once mass production starts, you keep working in close collaboration with supplier to guarantee the quality of the good and even working on its continuous improving (quality, cost, efficiency, safety for workers, environmental impact)
- With the support of the team you will drive the supplier management (development, industrialization, quality, negotiation, continuous improvement, 4.0 projects, human responsibility in production and Environmental impact) and being on the field is a key assets for that job.
- By joining you‘ll grow by learning and upgrade your skills, so you can more easily accompany the suppliers too.
- On that project, you‘ll be accompanied by a Supply Production Leader and a Project Leader.

- You are passionate by Sports and practice regularly
- You are very curious and eager to know more day after day
- You are ideally with an Engineer background and if possible knowledge on wood process (plywood, solid wood)
- You are well organized, able to follow-up many projects with different timelines and actors.
- You like continuous Improvement, you treat problems as an opportunity and consider we can always do better
- You like of course to be on the field in factories to implement concrete actions
- You have team spirit and like to play within a worldwide network
- Your communication skills allow you to share not only your ideas/convictions with others but also the good practices.
- The satisfaction of our customers and users is your priority, so you have good abilities to listen and to understand others needs.
- You are open minded and engaged; you know how to boost resources (skills, people, means...) to reach your ambitious target
- You are very curious and eager to know more day after day
