Production Engineer (Up to $1000)

Report to: Production manager

Main tasks:
1. Plan, manage, and oversee all elements of production in our factory
2. Assess and analyze current production methods
3. Develop and draft an improved production process
4. Design and implement cost-reductive changes
5. Maximize productivity of machinery and workers
6. Follow product specifications and quality control measures
7. Determine which machines, tools, equipment, etc. will be used and where they will be stationed in the facility
8. Determine how many workers are needed to man the production line
9. Train, supervise, and manage production line workers
10. Increase speed and efficiency of processes without compromising quality
11. Develop and implement quality control measures that effectively monitor products and guarantee desired results
12. Ensure all steps of production run smoothly and efficiently
13. Educate employees on proper methods in which to operate machinery
14. Hire technicians to maintain equipment for maximum safety and efficiency
15. Diagnose origin of breakdowns, including human error, and troubleshoot problems
16. Work within set budgetary plans for the project
17. Communicate with clients and vendors to obtain materials and/or equipment needed
18. Follow and adhere to all state, federal and company enforced safety rules and regulations

1. Bachelor’s degree in one of these majors below:
• Ship and offshore float equipment design engineering in Vietnam maritime university (preferential)
• Polymer and composite Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Mechatronic, welding engineering in technology universities (HUST, TNU, UTC, …)
2. Familiarity with CAD software
3. Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access)
4. 2+ years proven experience in production/industrial engineering; managerial experience a plus
5. Possess a wide breadth of knowledge in mathematics, physics and mechanics
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
7. Ability to effectively lead and direct employees
8. Detail-oriented and extremely efficient
9. Ability to maintain positive vendor and client relationships
10. Good health, open-hearted, creative, hardworking and good at teamwork.
