Product Manager [Fintech/financial/banking]

The Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing product strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company, specifically in the areas of micro-lending, micro-investment and micro-insurance. The Product Manager supports the Head of Product in formulating and executing product strategy to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that address market gaps and consumer needs in Southeast Asia:

• Identify new product opportunities and develop product strategies across financial technology areas including but not limited to: micro-lending, micro-investment and micro-insurance
• Develop product roadmap to address market gaps and consumer needs
• Work with business, engineering, and design teams to plan, design, build and launch high quality products that enhance customer experience and/or simplify the way people work together
• Work with engineering to structure and estimate projects during initiation
• Create Product Requirement Documents and similar deliverables for consumption by engineering team
• Manage product related APIs over time and within the context of an overarching platform API architecture / portfolio that is defined and maintained by the Technology team
• Manage development projects for assigned products from requirements to launch
• Partner with business to monitor and optimize key performance metrics, and launch A/B, usability and other tests
• Grow transaction & sales volume of the company’s financial technology solutions by working closely with the Business Development team in driving product adoption
• Monitor user feedback, and validate/document bugs and product issues

- This position is reporting to Senior Product Manager
- We are recruiting each Product Manager for each product lines: micro-lending, micro-investment and micro-insurance.

• Must-have experience in lending products at fintech/ bank/ financial institutions
• Experience in Product Management and/or Product Design
• Experience developing digital products and technologies, preferably for a financial institution
and/or on multiple platforms (iOS, Android, desktop, web, etc.) is a big plus
• Experience in developing product insights and driving successful product improvements based
on data and competitive analysis
• Experience working with engineering and creative staff in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of regulatory compliances for financial technology in Southeast Asian markets
• Experience with offshore and multi-location coordination a big plus
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills
