Product Executive (Saigon Head Office)

WORK LOCATION: 33 Le Trung Nghia, Ward 12, Tan Binh District, HCM City, Vietnam.
DIRECTLY REPORTING TO: Regional Product & Contracting Manager

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF ROLE

Product Executive is responsible to independently identify & develop new products, inspecting, researching, packaging and promoting them. The role is also to handle all product requests from Sales & Marketing departments through coordinating with local and regional product representatives including core and non-core destinations in SE Asia.
In addition, this role will support inside and outside sales staff/ Work directly with FAM trips inquiries and New accounts on niche products including all training.
Coordinating with the internal 17 team members to ensure the accurate and updated Product information on Tourplan system, website and other platforms of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Product Development
• Researching/ Analyzing new products and touring options based on inspections of sights/ new updates from regional offices/non-core suppliers then packing them into Products modules and promoting them through presentation.
• Researching and identifying new hotels/restaurants/boat/vehicle suppliers. Update to relevant departments.
• Communicating with suppliers to collect info and negotiating rates for new Products.
• Creating customized itineraries and quoting based on requests from Sales/Marketing/Agents/PCSS/RPM/ FAM.
• Prepare and conduct the training for internal/external sales and agents.

2. Product Communication
• Supervising and Coordinating with local product representatives in regional offices (or local suppliers in SE Asia) to collect relevant information and necessary component for new product/touring options.
• Making and delivering training for Sales and relevant departments to increase product and destination knowledge.
• Filling Health & Safety audit form of Hotel/Vehicle/Boat or Coordinating with local product representatives to complete it.
• Assisting for daily Sales’ request, question/inquiry from Agent or other departments.
• Working closely with Marketing and update monthly newsletter/new product for Marketing/all necessary department and other reports by collecting information from the local representatives/ local suppliers/ GMs with specific deadlines.
• Liaising with relevant department to solve any problems related to Product/Modules rates

3. Resource Management
• Creating new product modules/ PCMs
• Be responsibility for Product Master file
• Conducting updates & changes on all Company supporting document resources on the head office product server or any other file storage platform (Pocket Guides, Map, Pre-Departure info, Country Overview, List of restaurant, List of vehicle, List of weather …etc.).
• Assist and working closely with Image Gallery Executive to update/maintain Media and TOI product galleries.

Education Background:

• Baccalaureate, tourism degree or equivalent work/life experience
• In-depth product and destination knowledge of all or most countries in Asia Destinations: Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia.

EXPERIENCE
• 3-5 years experience in an inbound travel company in SE Asia
• Experience in working with different cultures.

SKILLS
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Thorough understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
• Experience in effectively working at all levels within an organization, including delivering presentations (PowerPoint,
WebEx, etc.), co-coordinating training sessions, etc.
