Product Engineer – Smart Solution

1 Manage, develop & select new products & suppliers to meet the the trends & demands of the market.
• Compile all information and needed documents of new products and phase-in/phase-out products, including translation, graphic and other necessarily to make sure they are available in different required formats for concerned people.
2 Prepare and develop a plan of Introduce New Product (INP) as well as Internal Product Information (IPI) and then present them to related teams (sales, warehouse and other departments)
3 Create product item codes and update on the Orion and on other related documents.
4 Develop and maintain the “Problem Fixing Procedure/Method” for assigned product group so that technician will base on this to repair & fix.
5 Handle of claims against supplier(s) depending on the case.
6 Implement and maintain the system to achieve objectives/KPI of individual as well as department .
7 Coordinate and support on needed activities to achieve the Quality requirement and policy.
8 Provide technical supports to the teams where relevant and needed. Lead to communicate and solve the issues regarding product eg quality, claims..
9 Cordinate and work with SC & Sales to optimize the stock availability, stock turn, stock deviation, especially for non/slow moving items.
10 Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Be the representative for Hafele for contacts of product suppliers. Be professional in Hafele uniform and live on Hafele values (follow the guidelines from any Hafele policy/manual/handbook/book,..). Teamwork and support others where needed. Do everything to enhance and to protect Häfele as a company and brand and don’t do anything that can cause disadvantage or damage Häfele as a company or brand. Other jobs assigned by supervisors and the company.

• University Graduation.
• Major in engineering, mechanical, electronic or relevant fields is a plus.
Experience (type)
• Work experience of at least 2 years in a similar position.
• Having experience in auto door, electronic lock, access control devices, led lighting is a plus.

Specific knowledge
• Good at electronics technical knowledge.
• Good at IT knowledge, especially networking (LAN, WAN, Wireless) and configure IT relevant devices (switches, routers or camera) .
• Good at computing and network hardware and peripheral equipment.
• Good at drawings and AutoCAD
• Able to communicate & transfer technical information to non-technical personnel.

Other requirements
• Good at organisational and prioritization skills. High levels of creativity
• Great attention to detail, highly organized yet able to see the “big picture”
• Dynamic, self-confident, hard-working, honest and gentle.
• Good command at English .
• Computer literate (good skill at Microsoft Office software, Excel, Words, Power Point).The ability to adapt to a changing environment that requires proactive and innovative solutions.
