Product Care Engineer

ABB's High Voltage Products team provides products which help enhance the safety, reliability and efficiency of power networks while minimizing environmental impact. Our technology leadership continues to facilitate developments in areas such as ultra-high-voltage power transmission, enabling smart grids and enhancing eco-efficiency.

Making sure that the latest revision of material and work instructions are up to date, follow up and ensure change of the drawings, BOM are well implemented.

* Your responsibilities
- Make sure parts used in production meet the latest drawings and specifications
- Manage changes to drawings and instructions, request design changes to R&D team based on feedback from production and suppliers
- Write and review work instructions as needed as well as prepared drawings
- Coordinating documentation (drawings, specifications, instructions) between different departments and units
- Support quality department in resolving issues through documentation updates and coordination between departments
- Coordinating with Main Product Care team in Switzerland to resolve manufacturing, assembly or supplier problems
- Coordinate rework activities as needed, make sure related departments have the latest version of documents and drawings
- Making sure all change of process is up to date to work instruction
- Participation in designing the machine to improve, trace-ability & stabilize quality in process (ex: tumbling machine, laser marking machine etc.)
- Other tasks assigned by supervisors as needed

- A University degree in Machine/ Mechanical Engineer
- Minimum 3 years of experience as production engineer
- Good computer skills (Microsoft, Creo, CAD, SAP…)
- Good command of English
- Able to work independently and structurally
- Able to work under pressure
- Strong analytical thinker
- Good communication skills and able to communicate with different levels
