Procurement Specialist - Freight Forwarding

This position coordinates the work with all departments. He/she is responsible for the creation of comprehensive responses to all request from tender teams and oversea agent in rate requests, tenders and tariff implementation. The primary objectives are to maximize winning bids and optimize margins for company.

• Work with vendors in order to get competitive needed costs.
• Analyze, proceed Price Quote Requests with accuracy, completeness for all oversea office request: using service contracts, offers from Carriers / Vendors and by following Company rate guidelines.
• Support Sales as needed concerned rates and routing.
• Works closely with Operations teams (Airfreight, Ocean Freight) to deliver high level of service to Customers.
• Understand customers’ current contracts, volume and rates to determine pricing necessary to secure or maintain business.
• Analyze routing, rates and understand good options that can bring valuable service.
• Build the appropriate pricing strategies correspond with company development strategy.
• Complete and submits bid response forms, bid worksheets, and cost summaries to the appropriate requirement.
• Other Ad-hocs.

• Minimum one (1) years logistics/freight forwarding experience.
• Good communication of written and spoken English & local language.
• Must have PC experience and ability to prepare documentation quickly and accurately.
• Respond promptly and professionally providing a first class service at all times.
• Follow policies and procedures and able to understand laws, rules and regulations in areas of assignment.
