Procurement Officer

*** Job Summary​:
• Assess procurement requirements by liaising with stakeholders based on supplied estimates, market experience, purchase complexity, sole source consideration and purchase thresholds
• Create purchase request package/s in line with defined thresholds
• Send all purchase request package/s to cost code owner and stakeholders for review
• Assess approved package/s against current suppliers/contracts list
• Negotiate with preferred supplier against a pre-determined negotiation objectives
• Create sole source justifications where required as per documented process
• Determination of purchase order or subcontractor required
• Issuing of Purchase Orders and RFT based on approved threshold limits
• Prepare required PO, award letter or subcontract paperwork
• Identify and execute freight requirements
• Develop contract management plan with contracts team based on defined thresholds and monitor performance of suppliers on a regular basis using criteria set out in that plan
• Management of issues with goods/services through supplier corrective action process and maintain issues management database
• Management of corrective actions until resolved and invoice issued for payment
• Upload all relevant supporting material from product/supplier to SharePoint.

*** QUALIFICATIONS AND LICENCES:
-> Essential
• 2+ Years relevant experience in an Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent business
• Working Experience in a computerized ERP environment, preferably Pronto

-> Preferred
• Bachelor Degree, major in: Business / Commerce Foreign trade / Supply Chain
• Proficiency in English both written and spoken

*** TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Proven capability and experience in the above key duties and experience in the engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Must possess a good technical knowledge of the goods, materials and/or services procured to ensure satisfactory quality and performance.
• Excellent communication in both Vietnamese and English, interpersonal and people management skills,
• Strategic, analytical and innovative, with solid problem solving skills.
• Experience with Pronto would be an advantage
• Computer literate with process and systems competency.
• A service orientated team player with a “can do” attitude.
• Diligent, motivated and organised.
