Procurement Manager (Job#21390)

- Work location: District 3 – HCMC
- Working time: Monday – Friday

1. Strategic Sourcing:
- Ensures compliance with organizational procedures associated with the sourcing process.
- Recommends appropriate sourcing strategies.
- Evaluates market factors influencing the supply market to assist the development of appropriate sourcing plans that shape markets & improves commercial leverage.

2. Contract Management
- Develops appropriate agreements with internal stakeholders to consider short & long term implications. Contributes
to the completion of documentation used to form commercial agreements. Advises colleagues & other internal stakeholders on appropriate contract terms for the supply of goods & services.
- Reviews process & procedures for creating contracts to ensure all legal requirements are complied with & recommends any required changes. Checks that the contracts comply with relevant legislation

3. Finance, Cost Management & Spend Analysis:
- Understands basic financial concepts & cost structure to achieve value for money outcomes. Identifies key cost
drivers & how they affect prices & controlling expenditure. Analyses spend through the process of collecting,
cleansing, classifying & analyzing expenditure data with the purpose of decreasing procurement costs, improving
efficiency, and monitoring compliance.

4. Supplier Relationship & Risk Management:
- Manage purchasing activities with Suppliers

- Bachelor’s degree in logistics or business administration
- At least 3 years of experience in a procurement manager role
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
- Interest in market dynamics along with a business sense
- A knack for negotiation and networking
- Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
- Solid judgment with the ability to make good decisions
- Fluent in English
