Overview (Objective of the Position)
The Procurement Manager is responsible for the management of all activities and achievement of outstanding results of inventory, suppliers service, Sale Operation planning. The Procurement Manager will establish a cross-functional (sales, category management, production, procurement) business process in order to synchronize the entire supply chain and best possibly match supply and demand.
Ensure delivery capability while at the same time optimizing inventory.
Embrace all strategic, tactical, and operational purchasing processes.
Procurement competencies
– Ability to identify and optimize all physical flows from suppliers to Hafele production facilities to distribution centers and customers.
– Embrace all strategic, tactical, and operational purchasing processes.
– Develop strategic purchasing and establish as well as deploy purchasing strategies.
– Ability to set parameters for materials and goods procurement to meet customer demand.
– Develops new supply sources where vendors are inadequate.
– Examines bids and makes awards.
– Establishes account/credit and terms
– Ensure delivery capability while at the same time optimizing inventory levels.
– Establish a cross-functional (sales, category management, production, procurement) business process in order to synchronize the entire supply chain and best possibly match supply and demand.
– Ability to analyze achievements/forecasts and provide to Organization all necessary data in order to design the operation plan and ensure the right level of stocks.
– Ability to use KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to monitor procurement performance in order to drive decision making (quote investments, forecast costs, calculate profitability, etc.).
– Follows environmental and safety regulations and acts in compliance with Vietnamese laws.
Cross Functional Competencies :
– Ability to successfully pilot a project from beginning to end, including prioritizing, planning, resolving issues, and displaying a persistent drive for results.
– Ability to understand, appreciate and incorporate the unique contributions of associates with diverse backgrounds in business interactions.
– Ability to apply change management methodology to implement successful business priorities (on time, on budget, human objectives and business objectives).
People & Culture:
- Lead, coach, and develop purchasing and logistics team (including hiring, training and goal setting)
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Be the representative for Häfele for contacts of suppliers. Be professional in Häfele code of conduct and live on Häfele values (follow the guidelines from any Häfele policy/manual/handbook/book...).
- Teamwork and support others where needed. Do everything to enhance and to protect Häfele as a company and brand and don’t do anything that can cause disadvantage or damage Häfele as a company or brand.
- Other jobs assigned by direct supervisor and the company.

Job Requirements:
– University Graduation.
– Degree Educated: Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing or relevant major.
– At least 5 years practical experience with Procurement and Supply Chain .
Prior experience as a Supply Chain manager desired.
– Ability to pinpoint opportunities and risks related to the demand plan and coach staff on effective resolutions to the issue;
– Demonstrate strategic planning and implementation
– Communication abilities and computer competencies;
– Strong knowledge and practice in procurement and Sale Operation Planning.
– Strong experience in SAP.
– Analytical skills, proactive approach;
– Excellent English proficiency;
– Good at computer (MS Office, Excel, and internet);
– Excellent communication skill, negotiation skill, leadership and interpersonal skill;
– Strong learning capability and problem solving skills;
– Good people management skills with ability to inspire, guide and coach individuals;
– Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. High levels of creativity;
– Good presentation skills.
– Ethical Conduct.
