Procurement Clerk

I. WHAT WE OFFER

- In this position you will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager in Vietnam

II. WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Search and evaluate suppliers
- Look for new suppliers, always make sure there are 3 audited suppliers in the list of approved suppliers (except monopolies).
- Audit the suppliers as per the procedure for auditing suppliers.
- Submit the documents of supplier audit to the Board of Directors for approval.
- Prepare contracts for goods bough in domestic market, support BoD in review and evaluate the supply contracts.
- File the documents of supplier audit, track and update the list of official suppliers as regulated.

2. Market price research
- Once every 2 weeks, research the market prices of materials, goods with fluctuated prices.
- Report the result of audit and research to the SCM Supervisor.
- Recommend solutions to the goods whose prices regularly change in the market.

3. Conduct the procedure for procurement
- Receive information of procurement and request for procurement in the software.
- Conduct the procedure for procurement in the software and have it approved.
- Conduct the procedure for placing orders to suppliers of vegetables, fresh seafood, etc.
- Prepare the proposal for procurement and advance for procurement for other goods.
- Follow up the procedure for goods receipt and hand over the goods to the departments to use.
- Supervise the suppliers during the delivery. When there is an issue or the goods is nonconforming, solve it and record in the data to execute the supplier audit in the next period.

4. Direct purchase of new orders
- Go to the suppliers' sites to buy when the suppliers do not deliver the goods to the factory.
- Weekly, collect data and prepare report on the goods bought externally and recommend the solution to increase the effectiveness and save cost.

5. Record and deal with audit team.
- Collect and record documents of procurement and supplier evaluation
- Present the documents of goods, procurement and goods origin to the audit team.

1. Knowledge
- Knowledge of food materials
- Knowledge of requirements of Food safety and hygiene.
- Knowledge of the regulations of food storage.
2. Professional skills:
- Communicative English

3. Soft skills:
- Computer: Good at office software
- Teamworking
- Analyzing and recognizing issues.
- Solve issues effectively
4. Education:
- College or higher degree, with major in economics, foreign trade
5. Experience:
- 3-year experience in purchasing machinery and equipment.
