Process Expert

Job summary:
Process expert supporting the plant for specific areas and products of expertise.

Main responsibilities and duties:
1. Develop process standards to be applied in the plant, to ensure consistent practices and quality
2. Identify process best practices and drive implementation (including: process setup, tooling design, automation, cost-out activities, productivity improvement, bottle-neck and downtime analysis, etc.)
3. Drive improvements in the plant’s manufacturing processes, leading specific tests and actions to be performed and proactively looking for new solutions from external suppliers
4. Support the definition of standard machine brands
5. Analyze and interpret internal and external safety standards on machines
6. Support the definition of guidelines and practices, in cooperation with Industrial Development Global Organization
7. Ensure consistent approach for machines built internally or purchased from ext. suppliers
8. Provide inputs to tooling/or Global Industrial Development organization in order to ensure continuous innovation and improvement for new equipments
9. Support the definition and implementation of the equipment upgrade and re-investment strategy for the plant

Department: Manufacturing Engineering
Reports to: Plant Manager

• Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree preferred
• Preferred 3-5 years in operations and/or manufacturing engineering
• Position requires excellent communications & networking skills & the ability to lead & motivate
• Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing process for electromechanical products (at least one or some of them, for example injection moulding or metallizing)
• Knowledge of electromechanical products and design
• Knowledge of machines, machine components, supplier available in the market, state of the art existing solutions
• English fluent
