Process Engineering Manager

A. GENERAL JOB FUNCTION
 Responsibilities for all process engineering activities in support of Metal Production Preparation (PPD-M) in Tien Giang, the manufacturing operations, technical coordination.
 Responsibilities for getting the procedure implemented in the right manner and prioritize it at an early stage in the product/process development.

B. RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & AUTHORITIES:
 To prepare the mould, Jig, welding fixture and working process for mass production
 To prepare the work instructions according to requirements of customers and internal quality requirement of Scancom
 To focus on the Master Plan to prepare the mould, jig and working process.
 To cooperate tightly with PPM-OM to know the Master Plan & Monthly Production Plan.
 To cooperate tightly with PPD-Alu for mould/jig/robot fixture in design and improvement
 To submit the counter sample to Product Management and Quality Assurance for approval.
 To supply the counter samples to Packing Team for packing/ assembling/carton/loading’s confirmation.
 To make Work Instruction for packing, confirm DIM of carton, loading information.
 To communicate with QA Tien Giang to share and get the approval for the quality issue of products. And Sale/International Order Center makes the final decision if QA Tien Giang cannot do it.
 To make trial production and to arrange the meeting to introduce the new model to Production Unit and QA.
 To send a changing suggestion of product to Technical Development (TD) group to make ECO and to communicate on-time to Build of Material (BOM), Production Planning Monitoring (PPM), and Production Unit about the change of material: update BOM and buy new material.
 To cooperate with Production Units to do the problem solving in mass production.
 To improve continuously the production method, machine and equipment to get higher production efficiency.
 To cooperate tightly with TD group to foresee the problems of new models and come up with the improvement suggestion.
 To communicate with QA, Production Unit to get new technical and quality information about the production technique, machine, equipment, which can be applied in mass production to get the higher efficiency.
 Responsible for performance reviews, and training needs.
 To ensure monthly budget as confirmed
 To ensure in implement company regulations & procedures
 To sign approval processes put into mass production.
 To make FMEA for mass production.

C. WORKING RELATIONSHIP
1. Internal:
 Working closely to PPD-Alu Binh Duong about JIG/MOULD, new item.
 Working closely to QA Tien Giang about the technical support, problem solving.
 As defined & mentioned in SCVN Standard Operation Procedures & Working Instructions
 Communicate directly on the daily job, the assigned projects and basic report.
 Communicate tightly with TD during the new prototype development and the mass production implementation.

D. JOBS REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor Degree, major in Technical, Mechanical Engineering
• At least 10 years experience in Process Engineering, Technical Development, R&D at Furniture or Mechanic Manufacturing, Automation companies
• At least 05 years in Management position
• Good experience in Mechanical Processing, Tool/jig/mould production, sample development, working instruction. Experience in welding robot is a plus
• Familiar with Technical software as Autocad, Pro Engineer, Inventor
• Good communication in English

D. WORKING CONDITION
• Working place: Tien Giang Factory, No 71B3 & 72B1, Long Giang Industrial Zone, Tân Lập 1 , Tân Phước , Tiền Giang
• Working time: Full time and in Administrative time
• Transportation: A Van 16 seats pick up from Binh Duong>An Suong>Dist 7>Tien Giang and versus

- Transportation provide from Binh Duong, An Suong to Tien Giang
- Support to pay 2.5% of required insurance
