Process Engineer (Toolshop & Fine Blanking)

Job Description

1. Responsible for maintaining and improvement processes standards Toolshop & Fine Blanking process regarding Safety - Quality - Delivery - Cost

• Check & monitor process & take the lead in process problem-solving activities
• Define and maintain standard of process (Control Plan /Work Instruction/ Reaction Plan, ...), conduct and maintain FMEA
• Initiate / lead or involve in Engineering Change Requests
• Start up & monitor Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) to achieve cost, quality & volume target
• Cooperate with related department to solve production issues

2. Responsible for tooling / spare parts management at Toolshops

• Tools & MAEs (machine and equipment) planning / forecast / payment follow up to secure production demand and achieve budget target
• Maintain & improve tooling & related processes (Die washing, Milling, Grinding processes)

3. Initiate Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements

• Support Shopfloor Management Cycle (SMC) to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of production
• Check, review & improve autonomous maintenance (AM) & involvement in preventive maintenance (PM)

4. Involvement in MAEs / small MAEs and line release projects

• Involve in release of new line, product, initial sample run (ISR), quality gate review (QGR)
• Responsible for relocation release as in aligned work package
• Involve in flexible operation release (internal release) to fulfil customer demand

Qualifications

EDUCATION BACKGROUND & WORK EXPERIENCE

• Engineer BA (Mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering; Mechanical Engineering is preferred)
• 1-3 years of work experience in an industrial manufacturing plant
• Experience with relevant processes is an advantage
• Stock / Inventory management experience is a plus
• Fabrication & Assembly experience is a plus
