Process Engineer

JOB DISCRIPTION

Mission:

Using their skills and business acumen with a high degree of autonomy and a strong individual and team work ethic to develop new processes and/or modify existing ones, recommend/direct automation efforts in our production floor and recommend,evaluate, purchase and install equipment to support those processes.

Objective measures of success:

a. Operational Excellence
i. Develop processes and implement best practices and innovative solutions through the use of process and system tools.
ii. Create and maintain SOP’s, properly documenting our operations and flows
iii. Maximize the utilization of our current infrastructure and recommend new equipment when appropriate to meet overall company goals
b. Process Improvements
i. Develop and Maintain a pipeline of process improvements.
ii. Drive execution of operational improvements in the Facility
iii. Assist Facility Manager, Production manager and/or Head of Production with special projects in Vietnam

REQUIREMENTS

Position specific:

Bachelor degree in technical field such as industry management, automation technology..
At least 3 experience years in process improvement
♥ Technical expertise: Having a strong foundation in Process Engineering, Light Manufacturing and Lean six sigma and have deep knowledge in MHE equipment and interest in automation technologies.
♥ Language: Fluent in Vietnamese and English
♥ Strong work ethic: You will be the only engineer on a highly productive fast moving production team. You should take full ownership of our production flow and deliver consistent improvements to support predictable results
♥ Problem solving: You must be able to break a complex issue into its component parts and stage solutions over time focusing on 80/20 wins.
♥ Active communicator: You should actively communicate status, risks, difficulties, and wins to the rest of the team(in VN and US) consistently throughout the week. You should be comfortable asking for help when he/she need it and helping others.
