Process Engineer

1. Perform duties in a manner that protects personal safety as well as the safety of
others. Promptly report Safety, Health or Environmental issues or incidents to management.
2. Perform daily evaluation of production line’s performance to determine performance and opportunities for improved operation. Report findings to management.
3. Identify and implement improvements to production and costs based on the performance of the lines.
4. Determine optimal operation of production lines with respect to the quality and line capacity of the product mix.
5. Ensure compliance with quality requirements and participate in customer audits.
6. Develop operating procedures, including safety requirements, and lead training efforts for operators (best practice).
7. Assist in conducting feasibility study and testing of new products, raw materials, and equipment.
8. Use continuous improvement tools such as LEAN and 6-sigma to identify opportunities and improve production performance.
9. Participate in maintenance and turnaround planning in order to ensure priority work is planned and addressed.

1. Bachelor / Master’s degree in Chemistry.
2. Have experience in polymer processing and compounding.
3. Good coaching and facilitating skills.
4. Strong problem solving skills.
5. Experience in Continuous Improvement practices such as LEAN and 6 Sigma.
6. Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
7. Teamwork and good mindset.
8. Experience with multinational company in Vietnam.
9. At least 10 years' experience in similar position.
