We are looking for an engineer to streghten our Technology Development, part of Supply Chain Organisation in Vietnam. You will report to the Senior Engineer and will support team in several tasks as well as take direct responsibility for several activities and projects. This position is based in Hanoi with travels within Vietnam.
Currently, key technologies being deployed are: compounding with specialty chemicals, yarn extrusion, weaving and knitting, heat-setting and finish goods
Key Responsibilities include
• Supervising the production at suppliers’ workshops, to make sure the production capacity reaches Vestergaard’s target
• Supervising the quality of products or semi-products at processes
• Trouble shooting for issues on machines, including electrical and machenical issues
• Execute the machinery maintenance with the maintenance team of factory
• Judge the suppliers’ implementation on machine installation or repair
• Coaching, training for new operators, technicians of technology development team
• Assurance of compliance with local regulations, code of ethics, occupational health safety, environment and company policy of all activities in the workshops, and at other third parties manufacturing for Vestergaard while meeting the required product quality and cost objectives.

Education and Experience
• Background: barchelor degree of technical major (mechanical, electrical…)
• Good English is the plus
• Computer skills: MS Office, Auto-CAD
• Production data analysis
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in electrical or machinal field, within plastic/textile industries or production factory is a pro
