Process Automation & IT Senior Engineer

MISSION:
- To be responsible in manufacturing process equipment for front-end and back-end processes for : Creation or Update process semi automatic or automatic.
- Front end test processes.
- Back end test processes (Product functionality control ) refer to final product assemblies testing and and traceability system.
- Provide Expertise support to the region through skill animation
- ME Automation engineer in Vietnam cluster for all projects

Role description :
- To make sure that the process delivers to the plant for the new product is in line with the quality requested. Robustness, Test functional, poka yoke, traceability.
- Provide the technical and economic elements necessary for the estimated product cost structure
- Create optimal industrial scenarios in conformity with the Schneider-Electric policy
- Create, specify, design, implement, manage and qualify the processes assembly , test & fixtures with respect to :
- Cost objectives, quality and project lead time- rules and standards: PM, SPS, Lean Manufacturing, Ergonomic ,safety
- Provide technical expertise and support to the units of production, and in Continuous Engineering
- Provide technical support to production sites in the SEA region
- Develop plant technical capabilities
- Manage suppliers
- Manage customer expectations
- Reach the right product quality through the process qualification

QUALIFICATION:
- Degree in Electrical / Electronics design Engineering; Diploma with
> 5+ years experience in Engineering field on manufacturing environment
> 5 years’ relevant experience in manufacturing area or Industrial environment

TECHNICAL:
· Having good experience and knowledge in PLC programming, SCADA, HMI, IIOT connectivity, Automation - Hardware and software.
· Working knowledge of SQL database, software application structure
· Working knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies – Augmented reality, Virtual reality, COBOTS, AGV etc.
· Knowledge of VB.net programming
· Knowledge of VC++, NI Labview, Lab window CVI and assembly programming language are an advantage
· Ability to develop test circuits if needed, to analyze electric circuits
· Ability to write test requirements specification, define test strategy
· Provide costs and time estimation for test solutions
· Strong in Machine design principles,
· Edison potential / L1 in automation
· Lean Manufacturing Expert
· Sound knowledge on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM )
· Working knowledge on Manufacturing Execution systems , interlocking will be an added advantage
Others :
· Knowledge of Equipment, Maintenance and production means and its industries structure is essential
· Good knowledge of time study methods and preparing cost analysis relevant to investment decisions.
· Strong decision making and leadership skill
· A strong team player as well a strong individual contributor
· Good communication skill.
· Ready to International Travel
· Highly adaptive to change
· Flexibility in fulfilling multiple roles
· Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
· Basic knowledge in quality management system

· Geographical responsibility primarily is Vietnam but could cover East Asia Japan on need.

· Good in Analyze & Solve technical issues
