Pricing Actuarial Analyst

Task 1: Product Development
+ Assist and implement market research, customer demand analysis
+ Collect information of products in the markets, collect illustrations, product features, products’ inputs, comparison with products of competitors
+ Participate to create Product Feature of the new product
+ Support on determining the Pricing assumptions
+ Support/prepare the technical note, the implementation of pricing model, illustration model and profit test
+ Documentation for pricing process, profit test process, analysis, assumptions and conclusions
+ Participating in wording process
+ Assist and prepare set of documents to submit to MoF
+ Cooperate with IT to make the sale illustration in the website
+ Involve in the parameterizing process in the system software

Task 2: Maintain the current (already launched products) products to meet with the business environment and updated regulation
+ Update the technical note upon the current and updated regulation
+ Reassess the profitability of the current product under the business condition shocks
+ Update the Wynsure software and test on the change of the current products
+ Back testing
+ Other tasks relating to the product maintenance

Task 3: Cooperate with other actuarial team members
+ Support valuation team, risk management team (if required,…)

Other tasks as assigned by AA/ Pricing Manager.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Actuary Science, Mathematics, Finance

Technical/ Professional/ Specific Competency Requirements:
• Good at analytical and numerical skills
• Have a good knowledge in financial modeling
• Have a basic ability in setting up a pricing model and profit test model
• Good teamwork spirit as well as be able to work interdepartmentally
• Proficiency in Excel/ VBA/ MS Access
• Experience with actuarial software such as Prophet, RAFM, etc.
• Programming experience is a plus
• A deep understanding of economics and of the legislation relating to financial services

Relevant Working Experience: 1-2 years of experience in actuarial jobs

Required Languages: Fluent English & Vietnamese

Personality Requirements: Responsible, outgoing, creative, thinking out of the box and able to work under pressure
