PPC - Merchandiser Manager

Manage factories capacity planning, performance and production schedules:
• Orders / Capacity / Production plan management with suppliers: Ensuring delivery performance target
• Support / coordinate with suppliers on process / flow improvement
• Communicate and liaise with Orders Management, Shipping, Development and QA for any production issues that impact to delivery
• Ability to partner with functional Teams including Planning, and the Brand (s).
• Manage and develop all members of his/her Team to ensure all Vans Speed initiatives are met
• Work towards continuous improvement across the production arm of the business
• Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
• Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
• Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
• Prepare and submit status and performance reports
• Keep paperwork organized
• Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff

• University or College gradated preferably in related discipline (Textiles and Clothing, Merchandising and Operation Management)
• Have 3 - 5 years working experience in garment, at least 1-2 years in manager position.
• Highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, focus on details and proactive problem solving ability
• Able to work under pressure, independently and as part of a team on assigned tasks
• Strong management and leadership skills
• High proficiency in English or China
