Purpose of the Job
Assist the Design Manager to conduct and follow design activities for Power Supply System of the Hanoi Pilot Metro Line (MV, traction, LV).
Performance Measurement
Quality of drawings and other deliverable production.
Responsibilities
Includes but not limited to the following:
• Read, understand and analyse the project technical requirements;
• Study and perform installation design for power supply equipment in technical rooms;
• Contribute to the resolution of integration issues with other design offices;
• Perform design and calculation activities related to electrical (22kV, 750VDC, 230VAC)
• Follow-up supplier design for all equipment related to power supply (transformers, MV/traction/LV switching…)
• Other activities related.

Bachelor or higher in Electrical Engineering
Desired Knowledge / Experience
About 2-5 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering design (typically substations)
Behavioural Skills / Competencies
• Confidentiality and Ethical behaviour.
• Proficient in Autocad
• Able to handle multi-task
• Languages: Vietnamese, English

Hanoi Line 3 - which is 12.5 km-long - is the second metro line under construction in the city. The commercial operation is expected in 2021, with the capacity of 8,600 People Per Hour and Per Direction (PPHPD). This capacity will be increased to 30,000 within 10 years of operations.
