MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assessment of credit policies and processes. Identify portfolio trends and recommend corrective actions to ensure an optimal operating efficiency and sustainable portfolio growth.
• Validation of target segments and product strategies by incorporating Risk/Reward logics.
• Provide functional oversight over the full credit cycle: credit initiation, fraud management and collection.
• Initiate policy change proposals, deep-dive analysis, Credit Tests/SCC and other business initiatives.
• Manage product benchmark development/renewal, policy exceptions and conditional approvals.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to implement policy changes in a timely manner.
• Data generation to support policy analysis via extraction of information from system’s data repository utilizing SAS programming tool. Preparation of PQR and other reports as required.
• Support the QA process and exception tracking. Assist in QAF and MCA (self-assessment) sampling / reviews / reporting process. Ensure full compliance with local regulations.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
1/ Technical
• Qualifications: bachelor degree in Statistics, Data/MIS or Business-related courses.
• Strong data analytical skills and excellent written/verbal communication in English.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in consumer credit /risk management.
• Knowledge of Credit Operations, audit and control is a plus
• Practical experience in SAS/SQL/VBA or other programing languages is highly required.
• Advanced user of MS Excel and Access.
• Exceptional numeracy skills.
2/ Personal
• Good Interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams in order to develop, update, and communicate the most effective and efficient credit policy.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (Presenting technical information to non-technical audience).
• Demonstrates strong ethics and integrity.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and team communication skills
• High energy level, motivated and results oriented.
• Self-motivated, pro-active with a proven ability to work independently under pressure and with high efficiency.
• Ability to drive work from conception through to completion with minimum supervision with a “can do” attitude
