Plating Executive / Plating Senior Engineer

1. Capability of identifying basic metal types. Effectively demonstrate the ability to prepare plating surfaces of all parts; mask, blast, clean, set up, and plate Zinc, Zinc Nickel, EN plating and other coatings, as required.
2. Must have basic electrical knowledge including, electrical circuitry, positive/negative, anode/cathode placement, AC/DC power supplies, rectifiers, and have experience working with hazardous chemicals and acids.
3. Prepare schedule for related process work such as masking, blasting, and plating.
4. Maintain and control all consumables for blasting/plating (i.e., media, nozzles, cleaner, acid, alkaline etc.). Responsible for the plating department yearly budget.
5. Establish the WI, SOP and define all the process parameter. Ability to conduct the DOE to ensure the process optimization are achieved.
6. Analyze problems with Zinc, EN, Zinc Nickel, and be able to provide corrective actions to remedy problems.
7. Improve processes, jigging method and tooling in order to streamline processes.
8. Maintain and make repairs for the entire plating related equipment’s when possible. Report all equipment breakdowns to Engineering Manager for solution if beyond his knowhow for additional assistance and guidance.
9. Make monthly report (English language) for entire plating department. Such as expenses, productivity, quality performance, KPI etc.
10. Train junior personnel in the preparation of all plating work performed on the shift.
11. Responsibility for waste water treatment process and air scrubber. Ensure 100% meet the discharge quality.
Performs other duties as required by business needs.

- Professional Degree/Diploma in Chemistry
- Have relevant few years’ hands on experience in plating operation and process, preferably Zinc Plating, EN Plating etc
- Demonstrated ability for problem solving
- Good written and English communication skills and able to make reports
