Plant Manager - Food Processing

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic plant manager with a background in food processing to lead the formulation then operation of a brand new manufacturing plant


Description

The Plant Manage will be responsible for 100 workers, reporting directly to the Company's President based outside of Vietnam:

* Responsible for construction and commission of the plant
* Oversees, manages, and optimizes the entire operations of the fruit processing plant based in Central Highlands
* Plan and implements policies in relation to corporate guidelines for cost efficiency, productivity, and quality of plant operations.
* Assures safety and security procedures and training are in place and make sure operations comply with all required regulations and productivity goals.
* Ensures functional relationships with local authorities, and farmers, and others to maximize cost-efficient operations.
* Manages the entire operational cycle from farming to traders to processing to shipment.
* Operates and handles operation support functions from engineering, quality assurance, to finance, and human resources to make sure overall plant operations are aligned with corporate guidelines.
* Collaborates and build good relationships with farmers and other fruit vendors, and handles any related issues
* Assures optimum fruit sourcing (locating, negotiating, buying, warehousing, etc.)
* Manages optimal (quantity, quality, time, cost) processed output shipments as per sales requirements leading to maximizing revenue and profit.
* Reports to HQ on all business matters as required.


Profile

Dynamic, energetic, likes to take initiatives, and keen for people management, in addition to:

* A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, food processing, or related field.
* Robust knowledge of food processing and related machinery.
* 5+ years of plant operations managerial experience.
* Proficient in Vietnamese and English
* Good understanding of Vietnamese regulations and laws, specifically labor and production
* Willing to work in Central Highlands Vietnam
