Plant Director - A Multinational Pharmaceutical Company

This director will manage a manufacturing facility in the center of Viet Nam for a world leading pharmaceutical company. The position will establish and manage a GMP-compliant plant, producing amino acids, IV drugs and other products. Simultaneously, he/she will spearhead expansion plans for future business opportunities.


Description

The plant director will oversee a 500-people factory in central Vietnam, and directly reports to the senior VP of general operations. This position will be responsible for including but not limited to:

* Directs day-to-day and strategic activities of the plant.
* Ensures steady and efficient production of the plants in regards to product availibility and quality.
* Make sure the plant compliant fully to all legal requirements of the company's, local, and international government bodies.
* Assures full compliance of quality requirements like PIC/S, ISO, and GMP.
* Grow and develop a robust plant team to encourage long term strategy and devleopment of the company, through sufficient selection, training, and leadership management.
* Establishes and cultivate operational excellence with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.


Profile

The ideal candidate has a bachelor degree or above, in pharmacy, engineering or related subjects. Has at least 8 years' of experience in manufacturing management position with excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluent communication in Vietnamese and English is required, and experience in aseptic and injectable manufacturing is preferred.
