Planning Manager

A. Establish schedule and maintain timely and effective scheduling processes and systems
B. Coordinate with all departments so that all project schedules are accurately forecasted
C. Review contracts and subcontracts to ensure all scheduling related requirements are met
D. Work with procurement to ensure schedule requirements are incorporated into all orders
E. Review all subcontractor and vendor change requests on all issues that may impact the schedule and work with project teams to mitigate any possible risk exposure
F. Analyze schedule impacts relating to project schedule trends or risks and develop mitigation strategies as needed
G. Identify and evaluate risk that may have an impact on the project
H. Responsible for close-out of all schedule related activities
I. Provide timely schedule reports to all levels of management
J. Prepare and issue monthly schedule status reports to management and clients
K. Maintain timely and accurate labor and productivity impact reports for all self-perform labor activities
L. Maintain all subsidiary reports such as personnel schedules, equipment schedules, etc., to facilitate proper schedule projections
M. Responsible for schedule input in Project Completion reports

A. Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred
B. 10+ years of project planning and scheduling experience
C. Fully versed in all aspects of Primavera P6 scheduling. Additional scheduling program experience (Microsoft Project, Excel, etc.) is a plus.
D. Understand concepts of baseline schedule, progress schedule, recovery schedule, total float, critical path, predecessors, successors, near critical paths, float trending, percent complete, float ownership, and constraints
E. Claim experience required
F. Time impact analysis (TIA) experience required
G. Ability to make confident, timely, and fact based decisions on a broad range of resources
