Job description:
Deputy Project Manager for Solar, Wind and hydropower projects (and grid extension projects), to handle both Pre-Construction and Construction phases of such project.
Pre-construction:
Support in EPC selection and EPC contract preparation
Coordinate the review the Feasibility Study
Manage the Design review Phase of the Project
Construction:
Manage the Construction Site supervision team (Quality, Volume, Safety Environment)
Works organization and day to day coordination with Contractor
Manage and support in preparing the Commissioning and issuance of defects list
Control and follow up of the defects repair
Reporting to Project Director and team Director
Other usual tasks to be considered:
Elaborate the Project Logbook on MyArt system of our Group, which defines the objectives and contents of the mission. Moreover, Project Manager would need to answer a risk assessment about safety, environment, finance, contractor and politic situation, etc. as well as define the method, organization and means in place to successfully carry it out. Project Logbook is reviewed by our Director and saved on online system.
Based on Quality Assurance Plan provided by Quality Management Dept, prepare detailed and specific Quality Assurance Plan for the project he is in charge to present it to client as an evidence for professional working practice
Identify the hazardous situations and establish the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) plan of the project. Analyze incidents and accidents in order to prevent re occurrence and contribute to the improvement of the OHS performance (in coordination with safety committee and Quality Management Dept.)
Prepare and manage potential sub-contractors (definition of their missions, consultation file, interrogation file, selection, offer analysis and choice proposal, project contracts preparation, verification of mission completion, control of compliance to OHS rules, payment, evaluation)
Elaborate and maintain a reporting system, prepare and submit the report to the Client on a regular basis (at least monthly)
Attend coordination meetings with the Client
Manage design output (follow-up of drawings and their approval by third parties)
Manage changes, variations, claims raised by the design team
Check design aspects that could potentially affect the quality, functionality, cost or completion time of the project.
Prepare cost estimate, budget and cash-flow. Prepare and follow-up its own budget. Manage the cost control
Ensure consistency of architectural design with structural and M&E design
Make sure that necessary surveys or audits are organized and ordered
Ensure actions are implemented for obtaining necessary permits
Prepare the valuation for the monthly interim certificates submitted by the Contractors
Evaluate the consequences that could be incurred in the case of a modification in the contents or the conditions of the mission, and the actions required.
Participate in the identification of events, evolutions and malfunctions, and suggest corresponding corrective actions

Basic education: Civil engineering
Experience: +7 years
Skills:
Strong knowledge in Civil engineering + solar field (at least Power experience / or other renewable energy)
English speaking required (and Vietnamese)
Have +4 years experiences in same position
Strong communication. Presentation and project management skill
Skill required: project management, autonomy, communication, report writing
Willing to work and involve in Project Management and Construction Supervision in remote area
Working place: Ninh Thuận/ Tây Ninh
Experience: +7 years
Skills:
