Payroll Analyst

Payroll Analysts are responsible for gathering and implementing payroll related requirements into Employment Hero Products. You will work under supervision of Sydney-based Team Leads and ensure all tasks assigned by the leads are delivered within agreed timeline.
You will be confident in interacting with external clients on a daily basis, obtaining information and accurately converting that information to system
configuration. You will also be the first level of support for payroll related enquiries from internal teams and external clients.
In this role, you will have exposure to various modern awards, enterprise agreements and other conditions of employment. You would build your knowledge about Australian employment standards and at the same time, have opportunities to join process improvement initiatives.

*** Key Responsibilities Include:
● Under the direction of Team Leads, deliver all projects milestones effectively and timely.
● Collaborate with Implementation Team and configure payroll platform to meet client’s requirements.
● Assist and respond to internal and external stakeholders requesting for help from any medium/channel (emails, phones, system/platform).
● Continually improve documentation and embrace new and existing technologies to improve the way we serve our customers.
● Be Involved in simplifying and improving processes to help team operations run more efficiently and increase client happiness.

*** Competencies Required:
● University Degree (Human Resources, Business Administration and Accounting majors are preferred).
● Some background in payroll processing or related fields, preferably previous exposure to Australian payroll processing.
● Knowledge of various HRIS desirable.
● Well-developed interpersonal skills, including presentations, liaison, and communication in both written and spoken English.
● A confident and engaging communicator who is comfortable building relationships with a variety of people.
● An attitude that always puts your customer's needs first.
● Highest professional ethics and demonstrated ability to work with confidential information.
● Well-organised approach to your work. You can juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
● The ability to identify issues or problems early on and work collaboratively with your team to remove roadblocks and fix problems.
