Payroll/accounting Consultant/ Senior Consultant – Business Process Solutions

Deloitte’s Business Process Solutions (BPS) and Tax practices help businesses manage their essential operational processes by leveraging experienced professionals who provide advice and practical support through a mix of outsourcing, contract personnel, co-sourcing, and project related services.

We are looking for young and passionate talents to join our teams of professional payroll, accounting and licensing services (we call Business Process Solutions) with separate scopes of work.

1. Payroll Service
2. Accounting Service
3. Licensing Service

What you will do?

You will be able to select one of three service lines below:

1. Accounting Service
• The incumbent fulfill an integral transnational and reporting function in Deloitte’s Business Process Solutions (“BPS”).
• This role touches all aspects of accounting from Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory recording, Cash Management, Fixed assets, Monthly Account Reconciliations, Credit Analysis, Payroll and other special projects as needed.
• Other tasks assigned by Manager and Partner.

2. Licensing Service

• Researching prevailing regulations of incorporation activities in Vietnam, company structure and company operation;
• Drafting/Submitting/Following up the application for setting up new legal entity in Vietnam/licenses amendment and other licensing services;
• Document filing; and
• Other tasks upon assignment from Managers and Partner.
3. Payroll Service
• Direct file handler involved in the full cycle of payroll processing such as undertaking payroll calculation, performing payroll reconciliation and reporting.
• Ensuring that employee changes are entered correctly and made on timely basis, reviewing changes for proper registration with relevant authorities like social insurance authority, labor department, tax department;
• Monitor the processing checklist and calendars, maintaining precise documentation, providing data/report for respective statutory filling within the stipulated deadlines.
• Examine client(s)’s payroll advice for completeness and clarify with client(s) if in doubt and upload data in system for processing;
• Check payroll reports against payroll advice and clients’ checklist before sending over to client for verification;
• Assist in annual year-end tax finalization. To generate tax finalization form for clients and to provide resolution to any related queries;
• Maintain proper filling and documentation of all relevant documents (Payroll reports and correspondence pertaining to client(s) payroll.
• This position will report to the BPS Manager / BPS Partner.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Laws or other business-related field
• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience preferably with an international accounting firm are all welcome.
• Some experience with ERP systems in the past – MS Navision is a plus (for accounting line).
• Candidates with Professional Qualification as recognized by ISCA is an advantage (for accounting line).
• Candidate who has experience of working in a law firm, legal counsel team would be an advantage (for licensing line).
• Having a good knowledge of Labor Code, related HR legislations: PIT finalization, social insurance (for Payroll line).
• Willing to be outsourced to client sites as required
• Self-starter, organized, attention to details
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment on several projects.
• MS Office experience required including extensive Excel knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
