RESPONSIBILITY:
Payroll (Retail):
o End to end fortnightly retail payroll (AU & NZ)
o Post payroll journals after each payrun
o Onboarding/termination of employees in relevant payroll systems including contracts
o General payroll queries
Month End:
o Completes journals and related working papers for allocated areas of month end. (~9 journals / WP’s)
o Complete balance sheet account recs monthly (~18 a/c’s)
o Accrue retail payroll cost when required
o Draft P&L run & identify any reallocation & accruals required
o Variance analysis on costs vs budget/forecast
Reporting and analysis:
o Weekly & monthly freight cost analysis
o Responsible for TRS data warehouse including managing daily sales reporting and Monday
morning sales / exec reporting
o Responsible for sales forecast, roster hours upload and maintenance to TRS
o Assists in monthly departmental cost trackers ‘
Ad hoc:
o Assist with stocktake loading of results and reporting
o Issuance clothing allowance vouchers
o Issuance of ad hoc marketing/corporate vouchers
o Ensure all ASIC requirements are met
o Issues monthly retail sales & hours targets
o Assists in preparation of Budget and qtly reforecast

Technical Competencies and Qualifications
• At least 2-3 years experience in payroll
• Relevant qualifications in accounting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills;
• High attention to detail;
• Strong discipline in record keeping;
• Understand the importance of confidentiality;
• Excellent written and communication skills;
• Strong problem solving skills;
• Show initiative in suggesting process improvements - questioning not accepting;
• Ability to deliver accurate and timely work in accordance with deadlines;
• A team player and also able to work independently; and
• Intellectual curiosity and the drive to improve and grow the business
