About The Role
Role Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Role Type: 8-month fixed term, full-time opportunity
As a Payments Officer, your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Provide high level customer service and efficient processing of inward and outward payments within the SLA and in line with policies, procedures, and local regulations
• Process all kinds of payment transactions such as inward and outward local payments, inward and outward overseas payments, cheque collections and tax payment processing
• Check supporting documents as per regulations and guide or educate customers on the full requirements of supporting documents
• Perform authentication check to determine if payment can be executed or if supporting documents must be obtained, kinds of supporting documents are required, or sanction screening is required. This also covers the account balance check, method of signing, signature verification, tariff applied and all other account mandates
• Perform data capture for all details of payments as per customer’s instruction to relevant payment systems such as TAS, Docflow, EDPP, MIDS.
• Ensure that customer complaints and queries are dealt with in a prompt time frame to ensure that Bank is not exposed to potential losses
• Provide friendly and responsive customer service to both internal & external customers using excellent customer service skills
• Willing to actively assist other team members to fulfil department’s work within the set time frame.
• Exchanging and sharing “best practice” / lessons learnt from experienced problems to other team members

• Good time management skills, ensuring the workload can be managed within the cut-off time of clearing systems and SLAs are met
• Good communication skills (i.e. written and oral) and computer literacy
