Partnership Manager

Reporting to Head of Marketing, the Partnerships Manager will play a key role in a new team with responsibility for:
- Researching and analyzing the market to identify emerging partnership opportunities
- Pitching partnership opportunities for co-brand awareness building, business acquisition purposes (CPI, CPR, CPA) and other objectives that reflects the strategic value that Finizi can bring to the partner, and Finizi’s own objectives
- Structuring, negotiating and executing partnership deals taking the lead on certain deals and supporting the Director of Digital Partnerships on other deals
- Managing internal stakeholders to ensure each partnership is supported by a clear set of objectives that reflect the interests of all relevant Finizi stakeholders.
- Account Managing specified partnerships, being the single point of contact and ensuring a strong relationship is established and there is a robust performance management framework to support each partnership’s objectives and KPI’s
- Reporting on progress both in terms of deal pipeline, and performance of completed deals.

Are you the right candidate?

We are looking for a passionate individual to fill this role, who has characteristics and experience such as the following:
- A creative deal maker with significant Business Development experience in both the media and digital space (ideally with an understanding of Co-Branding, Marketing Performance Models and Digital Marketing partnerships)
- Track record of meeting targets
- A network of existing relationships with leading digital businesses, and an understanding of their strategic interests
- Degree education with BBA or equivalent / bank, finance qualification a bonus

- A self-starter with the entrepreneurial bent with the resilience, grit and closing skills, who is willing to take ownership to see opportunities through from pitch to deal completion
- Strong analytical skills and intellectual rigour applied to decision making, and the ability to think strategically about complex issues, and to solve problems to unlock opportunities partner organizations
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills – with the ability to develop and present pitch documents
- Financially literate, with excel modelling experience and strong attention to detail
- The ability to work well under pressure, to project manage competing priorities and the ability to get things done quickly at high quality
- A passion for emerging content development, funding and monetisation opportunities in the digital media space
- An interest in Fintech, and their future growth potential
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organisation with strong stakeholder management skills
