Order Management Engineer

* Processing of Order Entry/Change orders

• Review the Contract Information Form, Change Orders, Claims etc. received from Sales Office and raises questions and requests for clarifications as necessary.
• Prepares the final job CIF and arrange for circulation to all the concerned departments after obtaining approval from the Senior CS Engineer.
• In case clarifications are requested by Engineering, the same shall be forwarded to the Area Office and obtain the reply within the required time by Engineering to keep the job progressing in Engineering.
• In case a Change Order value cannot be established at the Area Office, obtain the cost increase / decrease from Engineering and convey to the Area Office for revising the contract value.
• Consults with the Senior Customer Service Engineer in cases of non-standard inventory items, non-standard fabrication requirements, non-standard shipping requirements and any difficulties that he may encounter.

* Follow ups with area office and Coordination with Other Departments at Head Office

• Actively maintain / track the latest status on the jobs being processed at various stages as below and monitor the updating of master fabrication schedules:
1. Out for approval jobs if the drawings have been out for more than 30 days.
2. Letter of Credit, payments and L/C amendments, if required.
3. Engineering job questionnaires (Feedback from S.O.).
4. Job Site map for shipment.
5. Job schedules from Engineering and Operations.
6. Follow up for schedules from engineering for approval drawings, erection drawings, design calculations of approval jobs, and pass the same to the Area Office.
7. Shipments of steel from the plant as per established schedules
8. Erection Status / Completion Report
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production Control, Productions, Finance, Quality Control, SBO and Shipping & Logistic Departments on progress / delays.
• Follow-up on jobs and keeps the Area Office informed of the latest status on new jobs / change orders / claims / UMR’s etc.
• Issue Shipping Release once the job is cleared for shipment by Finance unless informed by the Area Office otherwise regarding site conditions and circulate the same to the concerned departments with a copy for Area Office.
• Coordinates with Quality Control for Quality Plan, Mill Test Certificates, ITP, and Material Inspections as required.
• Coordinates with Purchasing in obtaining quotations for special buy out (SBO) items. Maintains close contacts with the SBO Engineer for scheduling shipments of SBO items.
• Coordinates with Finance, manufacturing and shipping to ensure that financial terms are compiled and that contractual delivery schedules are met.
• Works as a liaison office between various departments in Head Office and between H.O and Sales Offices.
• Follow up with Engineering to obtain estimate for new job and change order and update the Finance Job Price Break Down sheet before the shipment of the job.

* Processing claims

• Circulates the claims through Claim Information and Processing Form to the concerned departments in case of any problem encountered at site during or before erection starts.
• Once the error is confirmed by any of the departments in a Claim, Customer Service Engineer would raise an Urgent Material Request (UMR) and forward it to the concerned department, if materials are required. In urgent case, UMR can be raised without confirmation from any departments but the error code should be confirmed later on. Provides necessary information to the Area Office on how to deal with the Claims encountered at site.

* Processing jobs with Erection under Zamil Steel Scope

• Preparation of Invoices from subcontractors for the percentage completion of erection work.
• Monitor closely the erection work by getting regular periodic inspection reports prepared by the Erection Coordinator.

- Local Vietnamese
- University graduation in the field of Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering
- 01 years’ experience in project management
- Good knowledge about pre-engineered steel buildings, steel structures & components
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, computer skills
- Good English communication skills
- Self-motivated, elaborated communication skills and speed of action in accordance with the requirements of the job
