Mô tả công việc
- Assembles and analyses all data pertinent to creating a constrained engineering (for Engineered-To-Order businesses) and production plan, uses rough-cut and detail capacity planning and links it to the demand plan. Obtains sign-off from Engineering and Production Managers and inputs it to the Integrated Business Planning process.
- Create effective materials planning for Make To Order business links to Production planning.
- Identifies capacity constraints and recommends both short and long term solutions and mitigation plan to remove bottlenecks.
- Calculates and maintains in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system the inventory parameters: safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead-time, and replenishment strategies.
- Manages MRP (Materials Resource Planning) exception messages on a daily basis. Supports cycle counting and/or year-end inventory counting.
- Monitors WIP, recommends WIP rationalization initiatives and feeds them into the inventory checkbook (ICBK).
- Identifies key root causes for deviation from the production plan and implements initiatives to improve adherence to plans for the future.

Yêu cầu ứng viên
- Exposure to world class manufacturing planning and scheduling techniques (automotive, transformer and/or consumer electronics manufacturing industry)
- Training and knowledge of SAP, pull production and Theory of Constraints planning and scheduling.
- BS or MS in Engineering or Business Administration. Master Scheduling and Planning certification desired
- 3 - 10 years as a Planner and Scheduler for manufacturing
Supervisory experience and experience with shop floor operations
- Fluency in both spoken & written English is required.
- Training and knowledge of SAP, pull production and Theory of Constraints planning and scheduling.
- BS or MS in Engineering or Business Administration. Master Scheduling and Planning certification desired
- 3 - 10 years as a Planner and Scheduler for manufacturing
Supervisory experience and experience with shop floor operations
- Fluency in both spoken & written English is required.
