Mô tả công việc
This position is for an Operations Manager. Expectation is for this manager to lead all aspects of logistics delivery within the Geodis SCO (Supply Chain Optimization) organization in Vietnam. The job also covers personnel development and direction, client solution development, planning, guidance, and operational support to ensure Geodis SCO business objectives as well as customer satisfaction objectives are met.
This manager is expected to have a vision of overall strategies that apply to specific projects or programs. He/she is expected to provide direct leadership to other professionals and/or managers, in the daily running of their business unit, in addition to implementing the overall client solution and resolving business-related issues.
• Provides managerial leadership, coaching/feedback and development for direct reports.
• Responsible for development and delivery of logistics network designs it relates to international freight and warehousing within the supply chain.
• Delivers reports and presentations to senior management & clients.
• Manages 3PL vendor relationships at management level.
• Ensure appropriate policies and controls and measurement processes are in place for the logistics organization.
• Use tools for tracking, measuring and reporting Financial deliverables.
• Use cross-site network and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of organizational goals.
• Use creative thinking to address business issues and recommend, innovative program improvements.
• Oversees end-programs are consistently delivered and optimized.
• Ensure Customer billing execution and invoice accuracy to Customers.
• Rate Management and establish customer systems and billing execution to ensure invoice accuracy and collaboration with the customer and other regions.
• Drive the operational implementation of new programs and services for assigned and constantly work to improve the end-to-end program and operating processes in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Communicate professionally with our existing/new customers, their vendors and suppliers, effectively articulating challenges/changes, root causes and the relevant solutions.
• Build long term relationships with our customers’ operational management teams and present KPIs end-to-end.
• Other Responsibilities
• Regular travel to meet with customers, and where required to work on site at customer offices - 20%.
• Comply with all applicable internal, external and customer safety and transportation laws and regulations.
• Perform other job related duties as required.

Yêu cầu ứng viên
• University degree, Diploma, specialization in Supply Chain Preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant logistics experience, finance and project implementation experience a definite advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Possess strong organization skill.
• Must have at least 5 years of functional experience in supply chain or transportation required. Having at least 4 years of experience in key account program management is preferred.
• You must possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, work independently.
