Operations Manager - Furniture Sourcing Office

For our client we are looking for an Operations Manager with wide experience on high and mid-end furniture management across South Vietnam


Description

Reporting directly to the country manager the Operations manager will be in charge of the following tasks:

* Responsible of handling a local operations team of around 10 colleagues in charge of monitor all production and shipping issues.

* Mitigate any issues with vendors and in order to secure delivery time

* Manage all factory audits, sample testing, customer visits and sample acceptance
* Liaise also with Quality Team in order to solve issues including but not limited quality, specifications or price changes and impacts of on time delivery
* Constantly update China Team on any claim or potential issue
* Manage the relation and issues with shipping providers and carriers
* be part of the local leadership team to define new local strategies.


Profile

The ideal Operations Manager 7+ years of experience in the Furniture field or has been working for a trading or sourcing company here in Vietnam. Has fluency in Vietnamese, English and possibly Chinese.

Having a strong understanding of Chinese, Taiwanese and Vietnamese vendors around Binh Duong is essential together with a strong team spirit and leadership skills.
